![]() Hoping to spend 3 years looking into global warming at the North Pole, the European Space Agency instead got to study the ice cap close up yesterday when Russia dumped their Cryosat probe in the Arctic Ocean, north of Greenland. "Not going to use that rocket again," the Russian Space Agency mumbled dejectedly, referring to their charmingly named Rokot rocket -- a former Soviet-era, solid-fuel, nuclear ICBM.
