Alan Greenspan -- once revered for wisely stoking the 90's boom, now denigrated because he keeps saying Mr. Bush is right (hmmm...) -- urges quick action on Social Security, and says personal accounts are just what they need.

Furthermore, after all the economic trauma incurred during the first 5 years of the 21st century, the American economic freight train continues to chug steadily along. But these deficits -- the by-product of repairing the trauma -- have got to go.
