Speaking of which (the "Person of the Year," that is), are you aware that reporters on President Bush's plane on election night were convinced he would loose? According to Newsweek they just couldn't find any calculus by which he could win.

How about all the polls, guys and gals??? Between the Republican Convention and the election, with perhaps 5 or 6 isolated, flukey exceptions, they ALL showed Mr. Bush in the lead -- or at worst tied -- with Senator Kerry.
